47% of post 9/11 veterans do not seek support specific to their mental health
Our mission at The Step Up Foundation is to change the narrative concerning the number of veteran suicides by dramatically expanding awareness regarding the effects of blast wave injury, traumatic brain injuries, and post traumatic stress.
Our Story
Our story aligns with the military community who all too often suffer from invisible wounds. Unfortunately, suicide and suicidal ideation creeps into all pockets of mankind. It does not discriminate regardless of branch, rank, gender, culture, or socioeconomic status. We strive to rewrite the language of mental health and together we will change the stigma.
How We’re Making a Difference:
Through physical challenges and speaking engagements, The Step Up Foundation will raise funds to increase support of programs dedicated to the research and treatment of these injuries while honoring the sacrifice made by our veterans.

Veteran Suicide is our current war.
The Step Up Foundation believes in supporting programs that build up our service members physically, mentally and emotionally. Whether you have worn a uniform or not you can support this fight.
It is our nation's duty to now serve those that served us. It is our nation's time to not just honor but protect them. We must be present for them, day and night, as they were for us. Now it is our watch. To all the warfighters, stand down. America carries you now.
